Day 309
Gray Clouds.
“Yellow flowers in the front yard stand out amongst a gloomy, gray sky.”
So the time went back an hour, but I still feel the same. One more hour back is fine to me! We had a little thunderstorm with light rain today, finally, no sun. My grandfather turns 92 tomorrow! I can’t believe he made it this far… he thought he wasn’t even going to make it to 90, but he did! I’m so proud of him for keeping up the fight, and still being a great step-grandfather to me. I hope he’s still around when I graduate from college! He almost didn’t get to see my graduate from high school back in June, because he was very ill, but thankfully, that illness went away. Unfortunately, he won’t be voting this Tuesday because he’s legally blind, but he’d vote for Mitt! And yes, I know they have special accommodations for the blind, or other disabled people, but he doesn’t trust them, and I don’t blame them. People can manipulate others and tell them they are voting for one person, when in reality, the other candidate is being selected. I can’t wait to vote for the first time on Tuesday myself! I have to go buy a cake in the morning and some other things, should be fun and I hope I pick a flavor he likes!
